>actually finding success in crypto
It doesn’t even feel real. That’s like nothing compared to the success other people have had but I’ve never had that much money in my life. I still ride a bike I’ve had since I was 11 years old.
And this is only going to get bigger. I haven’t told anybody or made any lifestyle changes. I feel like I’m watching someone else make money, not me. Like it doesn’t even feel right. How do you explain making an 800% ROI to people? How do you even feel good about yourself, like you actually achieved something instead of just walking under a money cloud by chance and getting rained on? It’s absurd. Who else knows this feel right now?
what did you invest in?
i'm happy for you but damn, thats depressing for us nocoiners
also remember you only have the money when you cashed out, until that moment its not real
When did you invest and how much?
The majority is from around 5000 LINK and 5776 COSS.
COSS is releasing a new exchange user interface tomorrow and it’s mooning like mad. People are expecting $15 soon.
Initial acquisition cost is in the pic
I started investing in small increments in October
Ok. That's it. I'm sick and tired. How do I become rich with this? Was that just a passing fad and altcoins won't go up anymore or can I still hope for raking up a lot? How do I do it? What should I watch for?
Fug, that's really good Bernd, I'm happy for you.
Where do you get to know about those coins? I just hear about alt coins after they boomed and become mainstream
> I feel like I’m watching someone else make money, not me
the moment you cash out, it is indeed the money that other people wagecuck for that you take without much effort.
I made like 200k in cryptos, feels weird. But then it doesn't really bother me, because I have also had investments that didn't go well.
4chan’s /biz/ is basically /crypto/, but there is a lot of bullshit you have to wade through over there. It’s a good place to find out about coins, but remember this is all basically a Ponzi scheme and there are people there who just want to make money off of you, so always do your own research on a coin before investing in it.
How do you even earn money with crypto? are you in a group or something?
i always end up buying high and selling low
Do you believe there are any technologies, that will actually be useful in 5 years? I am thinkking about cashing most of my cryptos out.
I will take a look, thanks Bernd!
ethereum is nice
also technologies that offer extremely fast, low cost transactions like Stellar or Ripple are also nice
There are some things that look just too promising in the mid term. I mean something like Ethereum was obviously profitable when it came out. For other things it's a lot of psychology and timing. If you lost money with cryptos, you really had bad luck, most of them were going up latelly. I am not in any big group and I will not deny that I had some luck.
Remember to pay your taxes Bernd.
What exchange site should I use to buy/sell all these different coins, not only bitcoin/litecoin?
many people use binance
the only thing holding back is the simplest
I just dont have any capital to invest in
like the best I could do is €200
200 would be ok
I am done shilling for cryptos though
but if you want to invest and you don't have much money, you should work with what you have, unless fees are too high
That feel when over 20x profits but very small initial investment so i'm not even rich yet. Should I be mad or glad?
WHAt about ku-ckoin
what brokers/exchanges did you use? any tips for beginners?
WHAT THE FUCK OP????????
LINK SURGED PAST 1$???????????????????????
AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I BOUGHT 1000+ OF THESE FUUCKERSSSSSSS
S I E G H E I L
If you haven't made it in crypto by 2018, you can't make it anymore
Personally I only ever used bitfinex, but I have a kind of mini "fund" with 2 friends, and they have some more accounts, for example for ICOs.
You should only invest what you are 100% comfortable to lose, cryptos are definitelly risky.
I divide my investments in 2 categories, longterm and shortterm. With shortterm stuff there is a lot of psychology involved, many of those ICOs will never produce anything good, but you can ride the train and sell when you made a profit.
Something like btc or ether is more longterm, btc will now fail soon, unless the idea ob the blockchain fails. Though it might be replaced in the far future, but not in weeks or so. With coins like btc or ether it's important to not panic sell, they always recover. People who panic sell literally buy high and sell low.
is bitfinex safe?
KRAKEN is unusable, Poloniex is ok.
I would say so, yes.
If you invest a bit more, you should probably exchange your coins for btc after trading though and send it to a wallet that you have the private keys for. I only use bitfinex when I want to trade and have the rest on my ledger.
How do they tax this shit at America? In Finland they'd take 31,5% of this if you cashed it.
how many altcoins can you buy on bitfinex? also do you use an exchange for altcoins? and do you have wallets?
you can buy a few
For some coins my friends and me use other exchanges, mostly for ICOs
Exchanges that have the most exotic coins sometimes look less legit to me though
greek on kc once gave me 0.25$ worth of some coin
so now it's worth 140$
I started 10d ago with 1000€ and already doubled it up, monkey.
wow a whole 2k
I know exactly how you feel, op
t. in same position
I only invested $700 initially. Almost all my money at the time. It's worth thousands now.
Any amount at all is worth it.
ur boy just got paid
It's too late now. Wait for the bubble to pop, and invest in some of the decent ones (bitcoin eth lite, maybe monero)
Right now you'll only see 50% returns max, if you're very lucky.
If you can somehow get insider knowledge, you can probably make 1000% off of altcoins, but they're all pump n dumps
yep my friend made 120k with altcoins in just one year.
I started late December but made a lot of mistakes. Am up "only" a thousand+ after putting 4.5k investment in (mostly from ethereum). I'm pulling out money to protect my gains already, am terrified of the collapsing bubble.
iktf. turned 2k into 400k in 1 yr (stratis)
my friend who introduced me to crypto investing turned 20k into 4m+ in same time period.
doesn't feel real here either. one day im hanging out in ancient irc room with old friends i met gaming ten years ago. they say crypto is the next big thing. and they suggest to buy this one coin. so i throw some cash in. i don't have that much faith in it so i throw in some spare change. next thing i know they are whales. oh well. we are still early adopters.
