Is there someone who grows potatoes by yourself?
How many kilograms can be harvested in one year?
They are dirt cheap in Germany. It's not worth the trouble. Last year you could get 10Kg for 1,50€.
Well, I have minuscule experience as a child.
1. You can make a 100kg surplus from 600m2 if you are lucky, repeatedly kill "colorado bugs", etc.
2. Potatoes have poisonous leaves (because of all other bugs).
I mean, I used to grow some potatoes when I was 7
Do not you feel relieved if you can make your own food?
In Russia, you can rent 10 acres of land and planted potatoes there. But now that few people make.
It's cheap here too but people still growing it for some stupid reason. Like pretending that food grown by yourself is tastes better.
No, you feel like dirty slave.
t. help relatives in garden every summer for 30 years.
I grow Chilies because you don't have a lot of variety in supermarket. In every small village there a 2-3 farmers who sell potatoes so you can buy those if you don't like to buy from supermarket. In my opinion it's really pointless to grow them yourself on the Germany.
I am potato queen of /int/ cause I am producing more than 1 tonn of bodadoes every year.
