How to find affordable housing in Amsterdam?
I could buy a houseboat for €30.000,-. But you need to pay the municapility of Amsterdam €150.000,- for a place in the water.
Houseboats are a fucking retarded concept. Why not just park your trailer home on the sidewalk?
Have you ever been in the Netherlands?
No space, dude. No space.
I could live in a submarine, then nobody will notice me.
> affordable housing in Amsterdam
Dunno if it will work out like this, friend ._. ..
Why Amsterdam? How much money you have at hand a month?
Yes, blocking the canals with boats seemed retarded, ugly and impractical.
My babyboomer boss was complaining to me that travel expenses he had to pay for me are so expensive and he said I should hurry with finding apartment in Amsterdam.
These baby boomers live in an other world.
Sorry to hear.
I cant help you either, unfortunately :<.
> a houseboat for €30.000,-.

Why don't you become a houseboat pirate?
it will get cheaper when the netherlands finally return to the maws of the ocean where they probably came from and also belong
It seems like everywhere you look in the west today, there is a housing shortage leading to inflatged prices and costs.
For what reason?
I don't think you fully understand the concept of on the Netherlands.
It's just the big city. Everyone wants to move into the urban centers.
>live outside the city or as near to it as possible without paying for the water tax
Amsterdam west or Billmer. The rest is too expensive.
>It seems like everywhere you look in the west today, there is a housing shortage leading to inflatged prices and costs.
Also, lots of people are getting imported.
=> the housing lobby is behind the migration crisis.
Why would anyone want to live in Amsterdam? It's dirty as fuck, full of shitskins and fucking tourists. You have the whole Holland, but no, you want to live in shit. There are a lot of cozy little cities like Zaandam.
Bijlmer is expensive as well. Only reason niggers are able to live there is because of social housing.
Wormer/Zaandam/Almere is all fine too. I just don't want to have a 2 hour commute anymore.
Here is map of appartments under 150.000. You can refine search if you want.
It's a hobby of mine to look at the pictures the owners make of their houses. Some look tacky as fuck.
€150.000 for 34m²
>living in Amsterdam
It's where the dam is put in the amster. Why else?
Looks roomy to me
t. living in Amsterdam
You can refine search for more m² and rooms if you have any minimum requirements.
I can spend max €850/month.
I also went to see apartment in Utrecht, but also ridicilously expensive.
What's the cheapest area in Amsterdam?
Also what about outlying towns such as Haarlem?
>I also went to see apartment in Utrecht, but also ridicilously expensive.
Guess you got 'recht :D
Haarlem is very expensive too.
Almere seems to be an option. But not a lot of offers.
I think for 180000€ you can buy rusty old china frighter. Just drive it in the harbor and stay there. What on earth could they do about it?
Fucking hell Germany, you are a genius. And I can rent out all the space I have on this boat with airbnb.
Fuck the government.
Perhaps Venserpolder is the place to go.
This appartment for example is tiny, but it at least has a seperate living room, bedroom, kitchen etc and it costs 87.500.
Monthly mortgage costs aren't high: http://www.funda.nl/hypotheek/maandlasten/de-hypotheker/?id=49889772
Even better, just run it on ground at full steam.
Hilversum could be an idea, too.
A friend of mine just moved there and she likes it quite a lot.
Seems affordable, too.
Please dutchies tell me why this isn't a viable solution >>35602969
Are there mobile home parks in Amsterdam area ?
imagine the terror if you live in small cozy house like in ops pic and some batshit insane ship is comming for you, like in your pic.
If you aren't in one municipality, you are in another one. They all require you to register and buy a permit for having your living boat at one or another location, if they even allow you to live there.
There is no getting around bureaucracy.
Russian reversal: you could get a piece of Moscow River for mere 1 rouble/m2/year !!!
Many ugly "resturants" used to park their boats and used to pay this fucking little of money throughout whole 90's and 00's, suka, should've learned that back in 2007 and "buy" piece of river for personal something.
Even my parents never searched for that, reality is insane.
Not bad, but buying seems such a risk.
>mobile home parks
That's an American thing.
Then suspend your boat in the air. What are they gonna do? Tax air space?
Cadastral maps here don't take into account altitude. You'd still be breaching the zoning plan, levitating or not.
Buy your boat, put it i to the water and refuse to pay or the "place". What are they gonna do? Sink your boat?
Taxation is theft.
Then bury it.
