>he has an overclokable processor
>he runs factory speed
>16GB DDR4 3200 MHZ
>runs at 1600 MHZ since nobody ever cared to enter the correct values in the bios settings
never overclocked my 2600k
just left it stock until i replaced it and now it sits on a shelf in the shed
Using more electricity than you need to is the actual IQ89 tier.
>memory speed makes more than a margin of error difference
>buy faster memory, it'll make your games run faster
how to enter correct values into bios, what are correct values and how to know at what clock your ram is running?
Just read the sticker on the RAM module. Newer motherboards also have XMP functions which can automatically detect the values. It's just stupid how so many people pay a 100 extra bucks for the highest frequency RAM and then run it underclocked. In some games like PUBG it can make a noticeable difference.
i also have 6700k running at stock clock
o god i understood nothing from your post, how i wish i was not an iq89 god damnit
I overclocked a 3570 non k, running at 4.2
There's a ton of youtube videos explaining it.
it OCs on demand
