If at least the threads were about making food and good, perhaps regional special recipes. But they're usually just "what r u eating durr"

They almost cured my racism nowadays due to overexposure.

Bernd I have a cooking problem: My food gets blacked! How do I avoid that? For example if I make noodles, they taste average. If I brown them a bit manualy I think they taste better, but i would rather have a fire and forget method because I am pretty lazy and would rather lurk KC than watch my food getting browned. So what is the right temperature in the oven to not turn my food into ash? I have tried googling but I don't get hard data, either just chemical papers or general cooking tips.

You just need to cook it as you always do and then on the max fire for a very little time without cover and with you there watching the process and rotating sides if needed. There's no special temperature for that.

Why? Does even 100C turn things into ash if you heat long enough?

Yes. But it will be really long, first all water go, then it will start to becoming brown but
All that time before it, when water is still in the food, the food will be boiling so the result will be dried boiled something with brown back.
