I doubt there are more than two.

What makes you ask? What is the point of your thread?

Because I actually care about the quality of /int/ and I'm willing to contribute towards it. And no, I'm not talking about becoming a mod myself, before you even ask.

There are 9 in total. Activity among them varies.

Proofs?

ie. each of them browses /int/ once a day for half an hour.

Ok, I believe you.

I believe a public bans page for /int/, preserving the identity of mods but assigning them a 24-hour ID, would deal with this issue well. If the mods really are as good as you're saying. Most of the users probably agree with me that KC moderation is extremely inneficient, but that wasn't the case three or four years ago, and there wasn't even a report function on /int/ back then. If the mods are the same, that means they are no longer interested in the quality of KC and should be replaced, not by IRC circlejerkers but people who actually prove themselves good for the job. I'm sure there are many on KC.

Just yesterday, I saw a thread where people were sharing CP and it was up for 24hours, needless to say, I report it several times and nobody was banned. Not to mention meneforcers, /pol/tards and the "block polish posters" spam (yes, it is spam.) I don't report shitposters because it's subjective, but spam and illegal content are literally in the rules.
Also, maybe make reports (and their replies) public.
I doubt you can offer financial incentive to mods, so that's basically what can be done.

I honestly find it sad that KC was once infamous for being assburger and banning people for every little slip and now it's just Ylilauta 2.0

The same mods from then are the same mods today. There's been very little change in staff (only some new blood) and no change in policy. The "IRC circlejerk" meme persists, but has no basis in reality.

>>Just yesterday, I saw a thread where people were sharing CP and it was up for 24hours,
Threads don't last 24 hours anymore. It was one of the first threads I pruned when I came online.

>>public bans/reports
Seems like a gimmick that will only be used by those who really want to nitpick over something. Though, it's something I was initially a proponent for.

>>I honestly find it sad that KC was once infamous for being assburger and banning people for every little slip and now it's just Ylilauta 2.0
People still think we're assburger for banning every little slip (cuck, thcm, camwhoring threads). We also had plenty of Ylilautan content posted as well back then.

I will agree that we could use some more active moderators.
